I’ve got one child already home for the holiday week, and I get to go pick up another tomorrow. So what am I doing?
Well, the Voice is playing on TV, and I’m working on cutting some bias binding for a quilt. I’m also sitting with a cup of hot chocolate and chatting with some distant friends via Facebook. What a good way to end another long day!
Happy Monday, friends!
I now have a website where you can shop the quilts I have for sale, or pick a style of baby quilt to order from me! As always, feel free to email me to discuss specifics, but this site now gives you an idea of what I have available and what I can do for you!
Please let me know what you think!
So, I’ve decided to work on another quilt project while I’m waiting around at appointments and such. But it’s a secret project. I may reveal pieces of it, and serious quilters may recognize it. If you do, you can comment away! I’ve got two blocks done from when I started this a few years ago, but have a loooong way to go with it. So look for some periodic updates with blocks or progress on blocks! Thanks for all your support and for reading my somewhat infrequent posts.
So, it has been a while since I’ve posted last. I’ve moved, settled in a bit at my new place, and begun working on projects again. Right now, I’m working on peeling backing paper off of this beauty:
Once that’s done, I’ll actually start quilting her and get her ready to hang on the wall over the sofa!
Here’s a “reminder pic” of when she was still very incomplete…
I’m still working on those spiral pieces for a mandala, but it’s going slow because I get fatigued easily. I hate fibromyalgia. But anyway, here’s where I’m at:
I wanted to share a snapshot of the progress I’ve made on this mandala project. It’s always nice to see something to come together so perfectly!
I’ve been busy working on A specific quilt. And I’ve been jamming out to some favorite tunes. That’s what I’m working on through the storms tonight. What are you working on?
I had to get to a stopping point (quilt top is done) so I could work on Easter decorations!
I think tonight I’m going to be dreaming of my piecing that I am working on. I’ve been chain piecing different sections of a quilt all in a row. Wouldn’t this give you nightmares?
Here’s the three pics of the quilts I’ve finished in the last two months. 😉
